Richard grew up in a small town in Ontario, Canada where most young guys did two things - hockey and music. He was the youngest of three boys and played music from an early age. He gravitated to the piano while his brothers were playing the guitar, organ and harmonica. Richard has been songwriting and composing for many years and currently has a number of songs placed in music libraries in New York, Los Angeles and Toronto. A number of Richard's instrumentals have been played on Discovery Channel and History Channel.

"I think music emanates from your soul and it never ceases to amaze me how music can move us all.

Richard had the opportunity recently to write a song with Marc Jordan, one of Canada's most successful singer songwriters. Marc's songs have made it to 35 million albums worldwide. One of the many noteable songs Marc has written was Rythum of My Heart which Rod Stewart covered and made it a #1 world hit. "I have known Marc for a few years and this was the first chance I had to write a song with him. You can't help but be inspired by his great musical talent and amazing voice. I had the awesome opportunity to co-write Love Blind with Marc.
